"I'm so excited...

that I just can't hide it! I'm about to lose control..." Well, you get the drift. And now that song will be stuck in your head all day. Don't you hate that? Who sang that song, anyway? Was it the Pointer Sisters? Posted by Picasa

The Big 5-0!

We hosted my uncle George's surprise 50th party here last week...this is a picture of him (in the 50 hat) with my mom, 3 aunts and 2 uncles. Five of his siblings flew up for the party and the best thing was he never caught on to the surprise. In total I think there was about 30 friends and family. Posted by Picasa

Narnia

Well, I've been working my little (well, ok, big) tush off getting ready to do a Narnia outreach for our church at the local theater. I feel like I've said and typed the word Narnia 400 times...the church staff can attest to that with the million e-mails we've sent back and forth. I'm kind of relieved to have a break since this has been a couple months in planning. Here's a picture of the table set up...we had a raffle with the first prize being the stuffed lion "Aslan" as well as some other prizes. I think it was a success...and I'm excited to see where the Lord will take us next! Now I better finish my Christmas shopping so I can get everything sent off in time for you Californians! Posted by Picasa

So cute when they're sleeping...

Isn't this a great picture of brotherly love. These two can be fighting one minute and best friends the next. It reminds me of the awesome responsibility it is to be a parent; helping these two little boys learn how to deal with life and helping them to grow into men with integrity. I'm so thankful our boys love one another and one of my prayers for them is that they continue in friendship throughout their lives. Posted by Picasa

Winter Wonderland

This is what we woke up to on Thursday morning. There's not much left now, but I'm sure we haven't seen the end of it! Posted by Picasa

Our First Snow

Garrett couldn't wait to go play in the snow... Daddy helped them make a snowman and used pepperoni for the eyes. That didn't last long once the dogs found it! Posted by Picasa
